Microsoft Youtube Channel Hacked

Microsoft's YouTube channel has been hacked by someone who has removed all the software giant's videos and is soliciting subscribers for sponsorships.
The background on the channel has been changed to one that includes the title "Predator Cinema," and a message has been posted that says: "I DID NOTHING WRONG I SIMPLY SIGNED INTO MY ACCOUNT THAT I MADE IN 2006 :/"
The channel's archived videos have been removed and replaced with short clips titled "We are sponsoring!" and "Make us a background to get a Subbox!!!"
Microsoft confirmed the hacking of the channel this afternoon.
"We have regained control of the Microsoft channel on YouTube, and we are working to restore all of the original content," a Microsoft representative told CNET. " We will continue to work with YouTube to ensure safeguards are in place for the future."
This is the second high-profile YouTube channel to be hacked in the past week. Sesame Street's YouTube channel was hacked last weekend, leaving its normally family-friendly content replaced with pornographic content.

Change Your facebook profile Photo into a Video

Most of the Facebook users try to edit our list of interests, photo albums and experiment with profile photo hacks. We weigh carefully whether we want to ‘Like’ this page or that, because we wonder how that information will be inferred.  And we’re always just a little bit, well, bored with our profiles.
Enter Facebook FlipYourProfile, a new Facebook application slash browser plugin that allows you to replace your profile photo with a video. That’s right. You no longer have to have a boring still image in your profile photo box. You can have a moving, breathing, sound-generating profile video on loop.
This application was built by Cisco and DDB Singapore as a way of promoting the former’s line of Flip video cameras. The application has two catches: First, only those who have the plugin installed will be able to see your video, otherwise they’ll just see your regular Facebook profile photo. Thus, if you want your friends to see your new profile video, you’ll need to persuade them to install it (and perhaps upload a video to their own profiles as well). Secondly, an ad saying, “Amazing! You can post videos on your Facebook profile. Get the app to view my profile vid,” will be automatically posted to your wall should you decide to upload a video, which is rather annoying.
Are you Still interested? Follow these four steps to upload your own Facebook profile video.
* Go to facebook.com/FlipSG and download the browser plugin for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or IE.
* Restart your browser.
* Connect your profile with the app.
* Shoot and send video by e-mailing a video from your Flip Video cam to me@flipyourprofile.com, or by using the Profile Maker to shoot a video using your webcam or to upload an existing video (less than 10MB, .flv, .mp4, h.264 only).
If you’re using, your iPhone to shoot video, you’ll need to use a free file converter like Get Miro to convert your .mov file to one of the compatible formats. You should also shoot your video in horizontal mode; otherwise, it will appear sideways on your profile.
Try it out for yourself and share what you think.

Use Google + to Search a Job

Google+ hit 20 million unique visitors this week, and the company launched a mobile app. The stats are impressive, but the new social network has room to grow in catching up with its massive competitors Twitter and Facebook.
Early adopters of Google+ are captivated by the network's growth, as many tech elites — including Mark Zuckerberg, Robert Scoble and Kevin Rose — have amassed large followings in just weeks.
Google+ hasn't hit a mainstream audience yet, but it does seem to be romancing the tech geeks with strong force. Yes, I'm talking about you, fellow Mashable readers. Early adopters, social influencers, tech innovators, digital natives — call yourselves what you will. The bottom line is, you understand the value of digital tools and how they can connect you to people and ideas all over the world.
With so many influential techies flocking to Google+, it's a great place to showcase expertise and learn from others. Here are some tips for using Google+ for your job search.
Announce your availability
Once your profile is completely filled out, and you've begun growing and interacting with your network, don't be shy about letting your contacts know you're on the prowl for work.
This could be as subtle as mentioning it in the "About" section of your Google+ profile, or as public as posting an update to announce that you're looking for new challenges on the career front. If you choose the latter, be original with your post and how you frame it. Try not to sound hopeless — make sure you are confidently communicating your unique skill set and the value you can add to a project or company.
Organize contacts with circles
The key to a fulfilling Google+ experience is Circles, the heart of this social network's organization system. Circles give users control over who sees their content. To connect with another user on Google+, you must add him or her to a Circle, such as "Friends," "Family," "Work" or "Softball Team." Users can create as many Circles as they'd like, though we'd recommend limiting them to a manageable number — having too many can dilute the experience.
For the purposes of seeking a job, it's important to denote which Circles you want to see your messages when you post. If you're posting about your job search, it makes sense to include your industry contacts — which you might put into "Social Media" or "Tech" Circles, for example — but that same post might not be as relevant to your "Friends" or "Family," where a more personal post may be more appropriate.
On the flip side, make sure you're not sharing unprofessional content with your business network. As usual, just use common sense when dealing with privacy and sharing.

"Essentially, I'm trying to think of the best ways to show potential employers that by running a campaign to get myself hired, I'm showing them how I'd bring value to their organizations," Havens says.
Share and follow relevant expertise
In order to be seen as an industry expert, you need to showcase that you know what you're talking about. Tech enthusiasts tend to use Twitter and blogging for this purpose, but Google+ is quickly becoming another outlet for sharing and discovering tastemaker opinions and interesting content.
If you're not a natural at finding and sharing content that connections in your Circles may find valuable, check out Sparks, the product's content recommendation engine. You can define topics you're interested in — or that you want to learn more about — and it will bring up content the algorithm believes you'll find useful. You can add your favorite sparks to the left-hand navigation for easy perusal when you're on your Google+ homepage.

What is Adsense?

AdSense is Google's program for placing its AdWords ads on non-Google websites such as this one.

AdSense lets website owners like you and me make money easily and fast without even selling anything. In fact you can often start earning in under 24 hours and when you get paid, it is Google that sends you a check!
You don't have to run a large site or have much traffic to make money and AdSense works for small enthusiast or hobby sites as well as larger operations.

AdSense is easy - but here's how to make real money

Some websites make a lot of money from AdSense (thousands of dollars a month!) whilst others make very little and there are many complex reasons why earnings differ.
I've been using AdSense since it was launched and am hugely enthusiastic about it. I've written a 5-day course about AdSense that explains
  • where the money comes from
  • what you have to do to start out fast
  • how much money you can make
  • what clicks are worth
  • how to put a rocket-engine behind your earnings
  • whether you can cheat
  • how to build a site for AdSense fast and easily
  • how to get going without spending any money
It's free and there's no obligation whatsoever.
To get the first installment in your in-tray in a few minutes just complete the form below.
I also discuss some unique and risky experiments I've done in my AdSense lab as I unpicked the AdSense system. (I was lucky not to get banned for doing some of these! Don't try them yourself. You can also read what Google had to say to me about them.)
Like a link to a presentation by Google about AdSense that few people know about? Written for advertisers, it explains Google's view on why AdSense is so useful for businesses. You can get it here too.

How to Bypass Downloading Timer on Rapidshare

While downloading any thing from Rapidshare there is always timer before we can download any file using a free account.Thats  really irritating.The timer is of 45 seconds for small size files but when it comes to big files the timer reaches to hours.There are tricks to stop that 45 seconds timer but most times it hangs the whole system however for hours waiting timers there is tricks thats of following  steps.

Go to the hyperlink:
http://anonymouse.org/

How to work it

1. Copy the link into your browser and press enter/return.

2. In the bit that says URL enter the rapidshare link.

3. When the Rapidshare page comes up click 'Free'

4. Scroll down and wait until it says Download: and the link.

5. Click the link. When download is finished, queue up another one! Thats it!

NOTES: THIS METHOD DOES NOT stop the 45 second download ticker and DOES NOT allow multiple downloads.
It DOES, however, remove the hourly wait limit for large files

                                       This trick is personally tested by me but i have tested it on only Rapidshare.May it work on Megaupload too, but not sure.If you feel any difficulty then feel free to drop comments..

How to place Adsense ads code between posts

I am sure, there are many who know this trick. But recently, I was contacted by at least dozen of people asking How to add Adsense Code to Blogger. So, Here is brief guide abut adding your Google Adsense Ad code to Blogger Template. This Post will teach you how to add the code, how to show your ads at particular place such as Ads below the post, in the post, before the post, etc.
Modify Your Code before adding to your Blogger template
Let me clarify this point. This Method will only work for New or Beta Blogger templates. For Old Blogger, Amit has very interesting and informative article on how to insert Adsense in Old Blogger template.
Blogger Template is XML template. So some of the characters such as <-- or !--> are not allowed in Blogger Template. So you will have to modify a bit in order to work in Blogger template.
Caution: Before doing any experiments with your template, I suggest you to Download your template first and keep a good backup copy of your template.
Method 1 : Modify Blogger Template Manually
Generate your Adsense Code and now paste it in any word editor. I prefer WordPad. Now find the code <!-- and replace this code with &lt;!-- . And find another code //--> and replace this code with //--&gt;
All done!
Method 2 : Use HTML parser to do this job
Use automated parser to parse your code. Just use HTML parser from BlogCrowds.
Is Modifying Code Legal
Yeah, Google has responded at least hundred times. Read the clear Google Adsense Support Response.
Here We Go!
Now you must be ready for the Special Modified code for Blogger templates. Now, I will tell you how to insert the ads at various locations. Following guide includes how to insert Google ads After the Post, Before the Post, Just after the Title of the Post, How to show ads on main page only, how to show ads on Post pages or Label pages only.
  • Show Adsense after the Post

Just open you download template in WordPad and find the following code
<p><data:post.body/></p>
Now insert your code just after <data:post.body/>. So you Adsense code will look like this.
<p><data:post.body/>Modified Adsense Code Here</p>
  • Show Adsense before the Post

Find this code in your template. If you are using my first hack then you have already found it.
<p><data:post.body/></p>
Now insert the code just before <data:post.body/>. Now you code will look like this.
<p>Modified Adsense Code Here<data:post.body/></p>
  • Show Adsense Ads just after the Title of the Post

Just find the code. <div class='post-header-line-1'/> . Add the code below this line.
  • Show Ads in Post Footer

Just find the code. <div class='post-footer'> Add the code above this line.

<div class='post-body'>
<p><data:post.body/></p>
<div style='clear: both;'/> <!-- clear for photos floats -->
</div>
<div>Modified Code Here</div>
<div class='post-footer'>

  • Show Ads after Author Name (Credits)

Just find the code. <p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'/> add the code just below it.

<p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'/>
<div>Modified code Here</div>
</div>
</div>
</b:includable>
</b:widget>
</b:section>

So, I normally use these places to show my ads. Remember try to change your ad placement once in 15 days. It will try to reduce Ad blindness. Further you can use some Adsense Optimization tips to increase your Adsense revenue.
Adsense Optimization
If your posting rate is good, then Google will not be able to serve you exact contextual ads on Homepage. So it's better to show your ads on Post pages only. Note that following method only work if you are using HTML/Java box from Add a page element option. Learn How to Show ads on Post pages, Home Page Only, On Particular Page Only.
Wrap Your Ads To increase CTR
Wrapping Ads is very good practice for increasing your revenue. You can also wrap your ads. Just add the simple code above and below your Modified Adsense code.
  • To Wrap the ads to Right : Add the code as shown below.

<div style="float: Right;">
You Modified Adsense Code Here
</div>

  • To Wrap the ads to Left : Add the code as shown below.

<div style="float: Left;">
You Modified Adsense Code Here
</div>
